Still loving this watch but it fights for time with my Seamaster 300MC. Two overhauls in 20 years isn’t too bad and it still looks great.

The 3594.50 might just be the most under appreciated limited production (not limited edition) Speedmasters in circulation, great pic, mine says, “Hi”

I notice that too when I ran into a few on sale but the price was much lower than my expectation. Any idea why it is under appreciated? They are Gorgeous watches!

It’s a nice reference that has been constantly overlooked for some reason. This reference is prone to corrosion on the hands. Many have gone grotty so check closely before buying. Being SL they can be replaced without altering the look of the watch though.

    ^ All of this.

Additionally, when this was first marketed, it was branded the 1957 “Replica”, which was a major faux pas right out of the gate. I don’t think the perception of the reference ever fully recovered, it was left lingering with a poor sentiment while it's an otherwise most excellent watch.

+1 for 3594.50...That was my very first 'nice' watch, and the watch that got me into vintage speedmasters because of its AML and its script style.

Your case is in amazing shape for the age. I wish my 3572.50 case was in as good shape! Oh well, I end up beating mine up with daily wear.

+1 for not enough love for the 3594.50. I still have mine, along with the cream dial moonphase broad arrow. I think these broad arrow designs carry the essence of the Speedmaster.
