The 3570 watches (small box) seem to be going for the same amount and in some cases more than their newer 311 (big box) counterparts even though these are essentially the same watches save for the upgraded bracelets on the 311, which I’ve heard are very comfortable. I’m not a fan of the big box presentation, but it seems like a no brainer for me to get a newer watch if it’s cheaper than the older one that hasn’t achieved vintage status yet. It’s not like the 3570 even has the tritium that will patina, so that doesn’t add to the price. Are people betting that the 3570 will somehow retain its value better than the 311? Am I missing something?
