We had a high of 38C today in Melbourne Australia.

 

This time last week I was in Canberra, 42C.
Four days in a row over 40.
Like walking around with the oven door open in your face.

Don’t think it was due to the cold

 

Surprisingly 15 ° F here, not that bad compared to some of you but still cold to me! At least I’m going to Arkansas this Friday. I heard it’s more warm but hopefully the ice doesn’t delay my flight

 

Chicago burbs. Car started. Made it to work. Breathing didn't hurt. Eyeballs didn't freeze...

 

No matter how cold it gets, my advice is do not bring THEM inside. When I lived in St. Louis one of those on the right did get inside - not fun!

I'm going to Melbourne on Monday and hoping the cool change to come after the 38C forecast max on Sunday doesn't slip out to Mon or Tues. Totally over the hot weather. If only some of that Minnesota air got piped downunder.
