I'm tired, I bought this as it popped up, but the seller cancelled and added 2k to the price. Should I be a) pissed-off, or b) thankful he helped me dodge a bullet ? I recall seeing a "Seamaster" Speedy before but couldn't find it, but maybe it's the same one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Spee...593282?hash=item41d6cc6382:g:j5kAAOSwR2RaNwm5Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Edit... Now this is funny. It just sold again in minutes at 6500. Will it be back in 5 minutes at 8500 ? Or I wonder if someone poached it after the sale ? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Spee...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
The annoying part was the reason given for the cancellation was that I wasn't in the US, then he added 2k onto the asking price which I think demonstrates the real reason. Looked like a great DON, no ?
No doubt about that, but as a parts watch it seemed pretty fair. Looking on watchcount it seems he sold for 4.5k second time round too.
Dodged a bulet imo. If this kind of watch is now worth 4500 I'll be sitting out of the Speedmaster game for a while.
