A question to the 2998 lovers : can anybody give me the exact length of a vintage lollipop hand?

Checked MWO, Speedmaster101, searched here - didn’t find the info I am looking for but I’m sure @oddboy, @gemini4 or another Speedmaster nerd has it written down somewhere or can measure a spare one

I have not been so lucky as to nab a lolli.

I think abouttime-ch has some on eBay, though SL version.

 

Not looking to buy one but to have the length of an original vintage one confirmed

I didn't measure the length of this one, but you might be able to deduce it from known dial dimensions...

A couple months ago, I was offered a chance to purchase a lollipop hand for 2998's Speedmaster. The picture I received showed that the length of the hand is 19.5mm.

 

I think this lollipop is incorrect for a Speedy as it is too short. It is correct for a Railmaster 2914-6 and perhaps a Seamaster 300 2913.
See the pic below with a Railmaster lollipop installed in a Speedy center watch) flanked by 2 correct lollipops on Speedies.
The Railmaster lolli's are noticeably shorter.

 

+1 to this but I think the shorter lollipop is for Railmaster 2914 only. The lollipop hand for Seamaster 300 2913 or 14755 has the lollipop shape on the other end of the hand without the pointy part reaching the minute track.
