i have a speedmaster 145.012 with 321 movement which had some dusts in the dial. so my local watchmaker disassembled the watch, cleaned the dial and put it back together for a quick repair. i winded the watch at around 5pm then i noticed the following day around 10am the watch has stopped already. when i tried winding it again i noticed that it only takes a few winds to reach maximum. what could be the cause of this? any help would greatly be appreciated. thanks.

I think the dust would have been better left on the dial if you weren't prepared to get it serviced. It's probably in the movement now. :(

I think early last yr just before i bought it. It was just a speck of dust. You think it has something to do with it? Everything was working fine before he disassembled it

check the hands! maybe they get "caught" somehow in a certain position which causes the watch to stop (touch each other, mostly with sub dial hands) - I had this issue on one of mine...

So far it has been running for 28 hours already and still hasnt stopped. Yesterday it ran for about 20hours before stopping. Normal power reserve for these watches are 48 hours right?

If it's still running after 28 hours there's no issue with the hands. The problem is if it stopped once, it may stop again so I would recommend you have it fully serviced.
