I have been offered a 35mm, ref 2367-3, cal 30T2RG. I suspect the dial is refinished (a little difficult for me to be certain on iPhone while traveling). The hands are incorrect. I would appreciate opinions and thoughts!

Is ref correct for an RG?

How difficult would it be to source correct hands?

Does mvt have correct finish for an RG?

    Mvt will need service.

    Value considering all the above??? image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

A redial with incorrect hands as you suspected.

Replacements should be available, but you may need to buy a trashed cal. 30 variant to get them.

The value here is in the case and movement, minus cost of service. What that is in today's market, I don't know.

From a collector's perspective - it's a project watch best used as a donor rather than a recipient.

Thanks to all for the replies! I have taken on projects in past, sourcing a correct dial I imagine would be quite difficult! If I pursue, would likely service and find hands. I could possibly "live with" dial?

Would sincerely appreciate opinions on value "as is"? I'd have to consider it at wholesale price, especially considering condition!!! (Seller is starting at $1400USD, which I think is high?) I have about two dozen 30T2's and later 260-280 variants but have never pursued a 30T2RG.

Pluses: 2367; larger size ; back looks OK, movement value

Minus: dial refinished ; hands wrong ; main case corroded on back edge

    $1400, too high .
    Somewhere between 800-1100.

Thank you, I totally agree with your assessment! I was thinking below $1000, but I don't believe I could even pay $800 for a decent case and the RG mvt. If dial were 80+% I'd feel completely different! These are nice, fairly uncommon watches which I think are generally under appreciated. Definitely don't have the following of constellations or Speedys!

Here is a similar one that I have. Dial also refinished, but oddly I think it maybe refinished only in the center script. Either way I believe that as I accumulate movements, cases and other parts, it will make it easier to complete projects with these in the future. Or at least that is the plan

Sorry I was not clear. I was not questioning the sweep hand on your watch. I meant are the hour/min hands correct? Haven't seen those used often (not sure what style, dauphine?) those would called.

Beautiful watch and original dial! Would I have to find another 2367 doner for the hands or do you think they could be sourced separately? Looks like sweep sec hand may be correct on watch I originally posted.

Yes that is the correct style. Leaf hands.
Have you read Franco's three part paper on 30t2rg & 30t2 SC Rg ??
