I am thinking of putting in a bid on this on cal. 30L, but I have my doubts about the 'Flagship' font and this particular case/dial combination which (in my limited experience) seems unusual.

    Your views would be welcome.

My two cents, and I'm far from an expert so take this with a grain of salt: the Flagship font looks correct to me, but the case reference doesn't match that dial. If you look up the reference on Longines30L.com you'll see the correct configuration.

A Flagship has Flagship written on the case and a boat engraved.

Thanks. Flagship dial transplant does seem like the likeliest explanation...will keep looking.

The "g" in Flagship seems to crowd the sub-second dial?

Yes, it does. All the other examples I've seen with the name in that position have a crosshair dial rather than a sunken one, which works better. Also, the top stroke of the 'F' maybe goes on a bit too long. But other than that I can't see any faults with the printing; so if that's a redial it's quite a good one.
