It’s been very quiet on the forum regarding people taking delivery of the A11 50th anniversary SS since the initial batch was delivered so I would like to contribute to the ongoing saga:

I’ve finally got the Speedmaster I’ve been longing for and although I paid €9K it’s worth € 50K to me. The call came earlier than expected but seems a few cancellations (probably people who had their names on several waiting lists) bumped me up the list at my AD. No thoughts of walking out the door with the stickers not removed, got it resized on the spot for my small wrist so I’m wearing it proudly because this watch deserves to be in the spotlight and not safely tucked away or flipped.

As it is my first Omega/Speedmaster I can say I'm now part of the IMHO highly regarded Speedy community.

Sorry, a few photo's have been added but as I'm at work limited time to do it extensively.

Super congrats. Your post clearly reflects how excited you are. I am happy and excited for you.

Only thing that would make your post better are some good old fashioned wristshots. The more the better

Welcome to the club!

All it took was to shelve out 9k😀, could be cheaper to enter but I wanted to get my hands on the 50th anniversary SS as my first one.

Congratulations, looking great! I had the fortune to collect one also this week as my first foray into the world of Omega after a few Rolex, TAG, and Panerai's along the way 😀 A great way to enter the world of Speedmasters

Still wearing it with the stickers or did you already remove it, I only left the sticker on the clasp on mine as it is the part most in contact with my desk.

Mine will only come out for 'high days and holidays' so it still has the stickers on the bracelet and clasp but not the face as I just had to see it in its full glory!

any one with any experience leaving the stickers on the metal surfaces and wearing them? Many years ago I vaguely recall seeing pictures of corrosion over time from the sweat (which contains salts) drying between the sticker and metallic surfaces of the back of one or two Rolexes (who didn’t peel off the green sticker tag on its back). Am planning that the stickers stay and wearing it lightly when she comes
