Hello Guys,

I recently bought from an ex Omega employee the book : A time Capsule Omega Speedmaster, by Kesaharu Imai.
Lots of beautiful pics and infos about various space missions and a special focus on speedies.
I was a bit surprised when I saw the following setup below : ref 2998 / tritium MARK II racing dial / alpha hands !!
Is that correct ???

I thought this dial could be seen only in 145.022-69/68 refs with tritium baton hands (drop style chrono)

Additional pics (sorry for poor quality), credit: A time Capsule Omega Speedmaster, by Kesaharu Imai:

And the whole Shabang :

I think it may be a later dial, due to the mention professional which appears 1966 if I am not mistaken

Yes, this book is quite old now and contains a few inaccuracies. Its a later dial and from a MKII.

No 2998 left the factory with a Mark II dial so I'd say it was a later replacement
