Great bezel. Was the dial that bad that it had to be replaced? The luminous on the hour hand could be re-done a little more cleanly. Great piece to have - enjoy it!

I would like to know more about that dial.....

The photo is not clear, but it looks refinished?

To me it looks more like one of the the service replacement dials with the Luminova.

The dial definitely needs higher resolution head on photos - at the minimum it has been relumed. Could be an early 2998-1 dial (same as used in the 2915-3) but hard to tell with the one photo provided. The possibility of a full refinish is also there.

And also it looks like only one pusher was replaced on servicing? And the hour hand relume isn't nicely done.

But the O in Omega is ovaled, signifying an early dial?

If that is a service dial, I personally would get new hands to match it. They're cheap enough at Otto Frei.

Sure that's not just the angle the photo's taken at? Doesn't look much different to the replacement dials:

The O looks flattened to me, more like a 2915 dial than a service dial. The minute dashes on the sub dials are the short ones as well. Is there a service dial that mimics this?

Obviously the markers don't look original.

Nice original bezel and crown though!

What is the logo on the crown inside the standard Omega logo?

That identifies a Naiad crown. a type of waterproof crown that was supposed to seal tighter as the water pressure went up.

Looks like that nice bezel is not installed correctly - looks misaligned.

Dial is definitely not a service dial - looks refinished to me.

Lume in the hour hand could be a lot better as others have noted...

From the new photos it looks like a refinished dial.
