    Dear Forum-members,
I have recently seen a Ranchero with 2990 casing. The case is signed with the usual "2990 1". Below this, there is a second, four-digit number, same font size. Has anyone got an idea, what this could be? Up to now, I have only seen Rancheros with only the 2990 / 2990 1 signature.
    Thanks again in advance

What is the second number? Could be an alternative reference that used the same case-back.

It's 65XX, could not find anything with the complete number on the internet. Were there any pieces which were numbered (e.g., the ones handed out to military)?

Since it is not my watch, yet, I can unfortunately not provide the pic.
The rest of the casebacks looks very authentic. The original omega sticker is still on the back. The second number is about 1.5 font size below the 2990 signature. The distance between individual numbers is about one number each, looks like "6 5 X X"

The part about the sticker is an issue to me. I have seen a huge number of these on vintage Omegas, probably all out of some stash of NOS parts - I would say be hesitant to evaluate anything about this watch without seeing all of it...

That said, a number of collectors have perfect specimens I don't doubt the correctness of, amongst others MSNWatch on here.

    EDIT: here's a post: https://omegaforums.net/threads/ranchero-was-railmaster-what-am-i-not-seeing.20927/#post-227398

Actually, I would only be interested in the casing, since the dial looks fake, although certainly one of the better repros. The case-back of my black-dialed one is quite worn, and I plan to replace it by one with the grinding still being intact.
