That bezel has been significantly ‘tidied up’… compared to initial Auction House Instagram image

It also looks slightly offset now ?

I was thinking the bezel was from the 60th anniversary watch, but did they fill the numbers with black and polish it? Most of these have much of the black worn away. One of the less attractive dials I've seen, too. Should go between 100k and 200k usd. You'd have to be a real risk taker to bet on the hammer price on these in off condition.

I don’t think it’s the 60th anniversary bezel as they have a flat top “3”
But looks a bit weird to me as well. I actually like the dial, the lume looks burned but the brown color is nice and even.

Admittedly, I rarely take the time to scrutinize the details of these bezels unless I’m considering buying the watch, I’m not considering this. The bezels are now being hand etched by more than one guy in Europe, and the “originals” were already not consistent, so there will be no way to know what is recent. Some that were accepted as original for years may have been made 10 yrs ago. Or 20. Or 30. There is literally no way to be sure what was original. Not enough 2915 samples to study and no way to know if bezels are original on any of them. Unlike later models, the stainless bezels were obviously prone to popping off. Many have been lost. I value mine as I would good recently made examples. As for the overall dial appearance, you are quite generous. Ugly lum equals ugly dial to me. Although, it would be a great candidate for some pretty new radium-aged lum. It would be striking, but many will not want to make it less original. That's a tough call.

    Isn't that the "replica" bezel?

Probably not, because no DON and the Tachy font on reissue is much taller. But maybe they used the reissue bezel as a base.

Yeah, there's something very "I made this in my garage" about some of the numbers on the bezel, but I'm not a certain the originals didn't have that quality, too. And again, most are just going from photos of a few bezels and arriving at conclusions about ALL 2915 stainless bezels. We cannot know how many different makers and different styles might have been used or how many repros have been made in the last several decades. I'm told the etching process is quite old technology, so copies could have been made long ago. Omega probably has no records that give any assistance. When the dust settles, given the scarcity of 2915s, I suspect prices will depend less and less on the bezel as long as it is attractive and can pass for legit. My opinion.

The sharp top 'A' is the giveaway on the 'replica' bezel. all genuine bezels had a flat-top 'A' afaik.
