·Now I normally wouldn’t post a live auction on here, but I’m assuming the number of players at this start price will be infinitesimal. Starting at £95000 I thought it would be interesting to discuss it.

I thought - that might be worth having a go at...I thought it was an auction and the price was 9,500 NOT the absurd $95,000 being asked.

A good -3 is worth serious money. If it is correct, not shagged out with a modern dial, bezel, probably hands too.
The extract on this one is old, I would be fascinated to see what it would get today.
I mean I would need kicking to buy this at 9500 but ten times that?

i am curious about that comment.
Apart from the fact that all the extract tells the buyer is that it went to Mexico in an unknown case/ref and was made by Lemania.
Would there be more information today?

As I understand it, years ago, there was more flexibility and guidance allowed when you requested an extract. Modern extracts are more consistent with the actual museum records
