2915-1 Bezel

Hello

Very long story short - I’ve been searching for many moons for an original 2915-1 bezel to complete my Speedmaster. Obviously it is unobtainable. My question is - if I ever did find one, what would be the realistic price for such an item? I simply tell the watchmakers I meet that I’m willing to pay whatever it takes. Would love to know what they have changed hands for in the past.
Many thanks

Hi
There are good replicas out there, it would scare the life out of me to pay good money and not know 100% if what I am buying is the genuine item or not.
I think every bezel is under question that is seen on the 2915-1s
I still don’t know exactly what I am looking at and I have never seen a guide that would help either.
I have seen so many variations that my mind is blown so I always look at the rest of the watch because that is easier.
Some people claim to know exactly what to look for but understandably they don’t want to share the info because fakers will up their game.
Personally if I had experts tell me the bezel was without question and I had a decent amount of spending money, I would pay £10,000
I know this isn’t really helpful but just my thoughts.

You are very unlikely to find one for sale. I know some people who have been looking for 20 years! However, with such good replicas available many serious collectors no longer attribute any value to the steel bezel on a watch they might be considering. To me that make sense.
If you somehow had a guaranteed genuine one then I’m sure someone would pay tens of thousands for it, but in this game there are no guarantees.

Thank you. I doubt I will find one, but I will not give up looking. I read a while ago on one of these forums one was on eBay in Australia - there was no mention of what it sold for. I’ve tried a replica but it just doesn’t do it for me - as I know it’s a replica. I’ve toyed with the idea of buying a beat up 2915-2 take the bezel and sell in the 2915-2, but again a very expensive option. I guess you’re correct in a 10,000 uk $ price - it is that a starting point? I guess whatever it takes !! Has anyone bought one in the last few years I wonder.

How are the Omega bezels regarded that the company uses now as a service bezel?

Thanks

That one in Australia was $ 18,000. And correct. But with quite a few dents.... Use a good replica. Search for a German guy. He has the best ones.... Forgot his name.
