    Hi guys,

Just wondering, dial looks way too good to be true, missing chapter ring?

    Am I missing anything?

The ZJ at the end of the dial number indicates a dial maker Omega contracted with back when this watch was produced. It might well be an original service dial.

Crown is not correct. Hands are almost certainly replacements. But if the price were right, I'd be interested.

I passed up the 2914 located in Hawaii a few years ago that went for $7700. (And only because I didn't have easily available funds at the time.)

    Bad decision.

    :(

Movement is correct. If it can be authenticated by Omega as original to the watch, then I'd say the whole shebang is worth at least in that $7700 range to an informed seller.

I'd be interested at a few car payments below that.

    ;)

One aspect of the watch that bothers me is the visible presence of 'Swiss Made', which usually is not the case. Afaik, the print is usually hidden by the tension ring. That could be an indication of a non-standard crystal and/or ring.
