2852 gold crown help

I have a 2852 early model (1954 by serial number) and it had the crown replaced during servicing. The crown used is not signed and looks generic, and I'd like to put the proper crown on it. I can find information for the stainless steel crowns, but not the gold capped. I assume it's the same 10-sided design, just in gold.

Anybody know the part # for this?

Not sure part number, but yes same as the steel 2852s but in gold. There are actually a couple vintage ones on eBay right now - they won’t be waterproof but they’ll be original.

Finding an original vintage flat foot crown on the other hand, is a little more difficult.

I was going to ask what the general consensus is on gold plated vs original. Price is almost 10:1.
