base caliber is 30t2. you can search for escape wheel for a caliber 30t2, 260-69, 280-86.

    Part number is 72202651305. Cal. 265 is the base movement, so used in the 265, 266, 267, 268, 269, 283, 285, and 286.

Note that the 7222601305 linked to in a post above is not the correct escape wheel.

    Cheers, Al

Thanks for the help, ive tracked one down and its on its way.
    Next Question
Would it be easier to put the old wheel on the new spindle or put it in as is and have to reset all the pallette jewels.

If you are simply exchanging the escape wheel, it should drop in and work - you should not have to adjust the pallet fork jewels unless someone has been messing around with the movement previously. But as always you should perform the normal escapement checks and go from there...

Just for the records and to have said it once: Everytime I read any of your replies to any topic it gets clearer: You're more a Magician than a Watchmaker.

Yes it dropped straight in but NO, it didnt run. Twas a Second hand part and one plane just clipped a jewel on one position.
Thank you gentlemen, it now runs thanks to your help. Its sitting on my timer running at 2 sec a day fir the last hour.
I need a rest now, i need to be in certain frame of mind for that form of intimate repair and my relief at success may allow me a beer later.
    Thanks again

If only one tooth is interfering then I would assume there's a condition problem with the wheel, such as a bent tooth. So did you obtain another wheel, or fix the tooth? Moving pallet stones should be a last resort...

And yes although watchmaking is not physically strenuous, it can be draining mentally. But over time you get used to doing fine work and the burden gets less.

    Cheers, Al

minutest tooth adjustment ever. My vernier readings across opposing faces showed no appreciable differences. The proverbial cigarette paper . . .

Well, when talking about escapements, 1/100th of a mm is huge, so it doesn't take much.
