I have just tracked one of my parcel´s route in the USA: it took 5 days for a priority mail parcel for the distance of 269 miles only to arrive on Chicago airport- unbelievable! In Austria it would take a single day to arrive... What do they do at USPS? Snoozing all day? Or do they still use "Pony Express"?
Good point! Imagine we have an airforce with combat jets... - they are cross the whole country in 10 minutes
Combat jets? For what? They certainly don't need to intercept bombers because there's a good chance any bomb dropped would miss since the target is so small.
USPS priority deliver domestic mail within 3 business days. Usually two business days. Your case is not normal.
It is priority international - but it took 5 days in the USA for 269 miles to arrive the airport where it is supposed to lift off over the great pond... These 269 miles you could go by foot in 5 days if you are in good health
it reminds me of the Swiss airforce story last year. french and italian airforce had to escort a airbus that was out of the 'road" because the swiss air force only works from 9AM to 5PM. I know I'm being nasty. I love switzerland.
Is the package registered?? Registered shipments must be signed off by every person that handles it and locked in a special cage.
I've been waiting for 3 Carreras to meander their way from Canada (admittedly the seller has just been lackadaisical about it) so I feel your frustration. Also, does Switzerland even get into wars to need planes to fight with? Good luck with the parcel's travel! My question is - what's in the package?!? @mac_omega . Reminds me of the movie Ronin a bit.
The content will be disclosed when it has arrived - if it ever does... I am not so confident after all, as this is not the only thing which went wrong with this purchase! I bought it on 27 th of June and the seller kept me waiting with intermittent (but friendly) communication until Sept. 4th ! I had considered to take legal action against him (60 days ebay protection deadline was over, I had missed the end ) - hence my request for help and the address of a lawyer in Michigan- see thread a few days back. I am a patient person and sometimes wonders do occur... And there will be the next problem soon: Austrian custom clearance... Keep your fingers crossed for me
