First close up today of a Zenith, this 2600 in a 9k case.
Unfortunately the piggy bank is pretty near empty but if funds were available I could really take to this piece.
I see no warning flags, does anyone, and can you tell me if this is considered a desirable model?
An idea of value for future reference would be good.

It's a good looking watch with a solid Martel- based movement - probably a 2532 PC - but the 2600 is not on any Zenith collector's top-ten list. Nor is the 1200, for that matter. I would say maybe $450-500 for a nice example in 9k.

Certainly a nice looking piece for business or pleasure; not a tool watch!!

Wot he said. These numbered models are a little mysterious. For one, it's not clear (to me) why Zenith chose to designate a specific model name for these at the same time that they were producing several other nameless but similar models.
