2538.2000 case polishing

Hi guys

Recently picked up this 2538.2000 great white. It's been refurbished at some point, and there are no polished parts of the case remaining. I'd like to get it back to factory spec in terms of the polished parts of the case. From what I can see the bezel edge, and the flanks of the case should be polished.

Does anybody know if those are the only areas that came polished from the factory?

Have highlighted the areas I think should be polished but keen to get any advice.

cheers

(A cheeky way of saying: for some reason your pic is very small.)

I have no idea what happened with the OP’s photo upload but it zooms in surprisingly well.

I don't know if you know this, but that model is supposed to be fully brushed. That is the "factory spec".

That's good to know. I had seen several advertised that had polished parts so had assumed that was the default..

The black GMT with the bi-color bezel does have polished/contrasting parts. No idea why Omega randomly made the white dial fully-brushed. Even the back of the watch where the serial is printed is brushed, which is uncommon on older non-titanium Omegas.

Seems strange. I personally like some parts polished to keep it interesting. Glad I know though, so cheers!
