Not necessarily. This was mine. I had sold it not long ago. The crown guards are pretty rounded to begin with on these. Yours look good for all the wear it has seen.

It’s because they are a dealer and are selling their service for that price. IE warranty and authenticity verification. Their warranty isn’t worth much though. These watches in auction/private sale often don’t even reach 2k. What you got it for is easily a bargain.

Understandable, I purchased a breitling from them a while back and haven’t had to use the warranty but did realize I got screwed big time when I tried to sell and I was out like 1500 bucks. Def my fault

That is what I thought from your initial pictures. Subsequent pictures look better. Though I currently don't own this watch and owned it a long time ago. As I said, for 950 dollars I think you got a good deal. Dealer pricing at 2300 is high but think your pricing is still very good on a private sale in my opinion.
When looking for a used watch what’s your go to place to get a decent deal? I understand most retailers want to sell it for about what they go for new.

Private watch sales section in this forum are a good place. Ebay is also a good place depending on what you are looking for.

How do you know your going to have a good smooth transaction on eBay? I’ve never purchased from good ol eBay

I typically look at the sellers prior transactions and feedback. If they have a ton of transactions and 100% feedback score, you know your probably ok
