    Hello OF Friends-

I may have just paid the tax on a 2505-3 purchase. Have not received the watch year but just noticed the arrow markers at 5 and 6 are off. Is this common with old watches with painted numerals. I also see the subdial second hand is not correct. I believe the crown is wrong too. Awaiting the watches arrival to show more pictures. Not many references on the web to see what a proper 2505-3 looks like. Any expert help would be greatly appreciated.

I hope everyone is doing well.

    Steve

The crown is more than likely correct, hands, another thing altogether.

And I get skiddish when triangle markers are not uniform at 5 & 7 on dials like this.

And I don’t see SWISS below 6, but not a complete giveaway, some did some did not.

More and high res pix can help us help you.

Still a nice watch one way or the other!

    Enjoy wearing it!

    Welcome

Can't tell a lot from those photos. A bit of polishing to the case? Either way, it doesn't seem like it will look bad on your wrist.
If you did pay the tax, I hope it wasn't a big one. ;)

Thanks Tex! I have seen photos of your SM300 on the forums. I finally joined the club. Lovely watches.
