2503.80 Slowing Down! Cheaper service than Omega Boutique Vancouver?

As titled. I bought a 2503.80 used all the way from an auction site in Japan about 2 years ago. It's been slowing down quite badly the last half year or so. I looked up Omega's site and they are listing $680 CAD (525 USD) for a full service . The watch costed me under $2500 CAD all-in...

Is official Omega Boutique the only sensible route for a full service like this? Or is there other alternatives? Please advise!

That is not a bad price for a complete overhaul of a co-axial movement, IMO, especially one that will come with a full two year warranty, if you can find someone local who will service a coaxial movement, I bet their price will be nearly the same and may not come with as long a warranty. These are more complicated than a standard ETA movement, and require special training and equipment. If you find someone offering to do it for much less, then I suspect their service would be suspect.

This is the price of owning a mechanical watch. Good luck.
