Went to see a work colleagues son today run his car at the 24 hrs of Lemons today at Motorsport Ranch in Angleton, Tx.

Basically an endurance race for $500 cars. Good comedy. Lots of fun. j
I made a small donation to the team in return for putting my sticker on their car. There was a film crew following them around documenting their journey. To be televised (or broadcast) at a later date.
I noted their selection of tire compounds. BRICK. Obviously choosing a "no" tire change strategy. Bold move 😉
None of the kids has ever raced before. When I asked them: "which one of you is the hot-shoe"? They said: "What's a hot-shoe"? (uh oh)

Nice. It was pretty popular over in my neck of the woods, but has lost out to some competing organizations that give a little more leeway. Lots of fun in general, but some issues due to totally novice drivers mixed in with many who have a bit of track driving experience. A couple people from my car club still have LeMons cars tucked away in their garages/ back yards.
