    Hi all!

Recently found this 2493-3 in really clen conditions from the wife of first owner.

With this reference more seamasters, but not an example as mine.

Dial is nicely printed and looking at the microscope shows precise details of quality printing.

Serial is 11,6 millions that should figure a production between 1947 and 1950.

Thank u all for any suggestions.

    Enjoy

2493 should have a cal 332 which, contrary to what the dial says, is not a chronometer. It's possible the reference number you provided is incorrect. You should confirm the reference number by seeing the inside of the case back.

These also came with Cal. 333 which would be chronometer rated.

That's common on the early Omega Chronometre movements. If the serial number is <12M, then it's likely original.

    Oh yes, just in case...

    Dibs! :p
