2264 Crystal

I was under the impression the crystals in these were scratch proof. Today for the first time I noticed a little hairline mark on the Crystal. Very small but you can see it in direct sunlight. I can't feel it with my finger or anything. Anyone else have this issue ?
Not sure pics will pick it up. it's to the left of the date window

have the same watch. mine has a couple small scratches from me banging around in the kitchen.

Sorry to hear. Sapphire crystal is scratch resistant, not scratch proof. Having said that, it is very hard to scratch. Years ago my wife accidentally bumped her diamond wedding ring against one of my watches and it left a small scratch on the glass. I don't know what could have caused your issue, but it had to be something pretty hard that hit the glass at just the right angle.
