    I have heard some people say that the bezel on these is plastic ? but i dont believe that . Does anyone know ? And is the bezel all one piece or glued in ?

    Its an anodised aluminium insert with interference fit into a steel bezel shell. There is no plastic used on those.

    They changed to ceramic a few years later, but I don't think Omega has ever used plastic for a bezel.

    Anodized aluminum insert on the OEM bezel. Can’t speak for non OEM or aftermarket bezels.

    Well, that's not correct. The early Seamaster 300 (2913 up to 166.024) had a bakelite bezel... what is actually a duroplast... in other words plastic.
