Hi everyone! I recently bought a second-hand 2220.80 Seamaster Professional and noticed that when I go to wind the watch, there's an intermittent 'click'. It almost sounds like it's the date but it's not.

Any thoughts? Is this normal or should I have it checked out?

Also, I'm unsure if the watch has been serviced so this may be my starting point =)

It's likely the click heard when the over-winding safety is working properly. If you let the watch run down a bit, then wind it up next to your ear, the first several winding strokes you will not hear that click, then as it becomes fully wound, the clicks will begin. Others on this great forum might have a more eloquent way of stating this, but I think that is the gist.
