just a quick question about these movements as I’m confused!
I’ve got several variations of this movement, 215, 215-9, 218 and a 69 in various watches and just movements and they all register at 18000 on my Timegrapher. What confuses me is that the 215-9 is supposed to run at 21600 according to http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&&2uswk&Universal_215 , the UG released blurb when they relaunched (page 10) http://www.universal.ch/medias/mouvements/Universal_WEB.pdf and polerouter.com http://www.polerouter.de/frameset-movements.htm
Has anyone ever seen one of these movements running at this higher speed? I can’t find a single example that does, all 4 examples I found here https://watchguy.co.uk/cgi-bin/library?action=show_brand&brand=Universal Geneve run at 18000, 3 examples I’ve tested run at 18000, so I’m pretty confident that someone, somewhere has put the wrong information up and everyone else has copied it.
Does anyone here know any different?
    Thanks for your time.

Short answer is no! But I’ve still not seen any evidence of a high beat movement....
