    Hi guys,

I bought a Seamaster recently and these four links were in the box. I also received Seamaster links, which look correct. However, I have some reservations about these links, mostly due the fake looking split friction pin. Thoughts?

If you remove one of the pins, what does the middle part of the link look like? Is the hole in that part larger that the hole in the side links? It should be, for the tube.

I've seen people jam all kinds of pins in these to "fix" them without the right parts, so it's possible that has happened here, but I would not expect to see it on more than 1 link typically...

Hi Archer, thanks for replying. I tried to take some better photos but its difficult. I will try in daylight tomorrow. I also have similar spare speedmaster links which I know are authentic and these ones seem a bit rough when I compare them side by side.

The middle hole looks larger, but overall they look a little "iffy" for sure...

they finishing has me worried. I mean they could be used, but compared to the originals they look poorly machined
