For sale on behalf of the Schirra family : the Omega Speedmaster 'First Omega in Space" on Steel Bracelet timepiece.
This beauty is new in the box and has never worn or removed except for photos that will be provided upon request.
This particular watch was presented with gratitude to Suzanne Schirra by Raynald Aeschilmann, President & CEO of Omega. It was presented to pay homage to her father Walter Schirra Jr. who flew the first Omega on his historic Mercury flight thus starting a long tradition between NASA and Omega.
A typed hand signed letter on Omega stationary w/envelope to Suzanne from CEO Raynald Aeschlimann is included for iron-clad provenance.
This "one of" spectacular presentation timepiece is being offered with all of its original packaging exactly as received from Omega.
