Unfortunately, I don't think that is a real one.

I think this will be a great season or at least I wish, last season was a let down IMO.

What's for sure is that in the coming year F1 will be very interesting with all the new companies joining the circus.

Regarding F1TV, I have been using it for the las 3 or 4 years, and it's the best decision ever. Great content, Live coverage, historic races, in deep analysis by real expert.

Less than a quid per race this year! Timing screens (*), performance analysis, commentary, video stuff.

(*) Six devices allowed so a different page on each one 😀

So let's hope Jenny Gow recovers soon and is back strolling the pit lane with the phone numbers of all the team principals on her speed-dial. GWS Jenny.
I don’t think we will be seeing Jennie this year which is a shame, but it sounds like she is recovering. Health & family much more important. Thoughts are with her.

I like it. I've been slacking on posting pics of the other cars, but none of them are even that much different from last year lol.

Yea it’s all a bit minor and every car seems to be converging on the Red Bull design concept for rather obvious reasons.

The one car that did stand out to me a bit was the Stake / Kick sponsored Alfa Romeo. Stake is an offshore crypto casino based out of Curaçao and Kick is a streaming service subsidiary they created since twitch banned streamers from marketing online slot machines to kids.

Some guy on Kick just illegally streamed the entire superbowl live to an audience of 150,000 using that platform, on the basis that “the site doesn’t have a TOS therefore it must be legal”. Given how litigious the NFL is I have a feeling Stake / Kick might be in a bit of trouble and it’ll be interesting to see how long they last.

It wouldn’t be an F1 season without a dodgy sponsor imploding would it 😀

That’s why they need to go back to good old reliable tobacco.

We still have Mclaren with A Better Tomorrow AKA Smoke BAT Vapes and Mission Winnow AKA Hit that JUUL kids just got added back into the Ferrari sponsor list for 2023

https://scuderiafans.com/f1-ferrari...appears-on-list-of-ferrari-partners-for-2023/

It’s a shame the vape sponsors are so ugly though, tobacco brought us the most beautiful liveries in the 60s through to 90s but the mission winnow branding in particular looks like garbage

Honestly, I can't remember being less excited for a new F1 season to start...but here we are lol.
Maybe that will change once those lights go out. But anyway, here is an all in one pic of all the cars.

I’ve updated thread title btw.

I’m getting excited prematurely by this Alonso pace… Maybe… possibly… Fernando didn’t make a stupid career move this time by going to Aston. If the car has real pace he won’t have to worry about competing with his teammate since Lance is slow as hell, and daddy Stroll is pouring those fashion industry bucks into the team at a huge rate.

It’s an Aston Martin. Have you ever known an Aston to be reliable? He’ll DNF like 7 races.

I mean it’s a Mercedes power unit, Mercedes gearbox and Mercedes rear suspension. If the car had air conditioning and satnav that could fail but there’s not that much functionally on the car beyond what they’ve bought from merc that tends to break. Given Alonso’s luck with alpine last year it can’t be worse than that surely

It's still AM mechanics/engineers putting together the car.

Reliable or not, It is still impressive the level of talent Aston Martin were able source, Sebastian, and now Alonso! They have to be doing something right.

Gotta say, I like the Ferrari best. Blood red, and unmistakably a Ferrari.
