·Hi everyone,
Bit of a catch and release here as I can't seem to get on with the watch as much as I'd like. Put it down to a 'summer fling' or 'holiday romance' but I am not as attached to this watch as I was in the build-up and due diligence before actually buying it. A little disappointing - but I'm sure it has happened to the best of us. Most of the issue is down to the bracelet - even after purchasing two half-links from the Omega boutique and having it resized half a dozen times at the AD, I couldn't find that one-fit-for-the-whole-day zen.
Anyway - I don't want it to sit in my watch box. It should be worn and loved by somebody. The bracelet just isn't for me, and I believe a watch of this calibre should be worn on its bracelet 80% of the time. Unfortunately I have oddly shaped 6.1"-6.2" wrists which means I generally struggle with bracelets and the way the links hug my wrist.
So we have a 38mm white dial Aqua Terra here - reference 220.10.38.20.02.001. I've had it for about 12 days. It is gaining +1s/d in the time that I've had it. I'd call the condition 9.8/10. You'd be hard pressed to think that this watch is pre-owned. This will come as a whole set - box, cards, leather wallet, box, manual, outer box, tag etc. etc. Just like receiving it from the AD minus the sticker on the case back.
If you have any other questions - please message me here and ask. If you want more photos of the watch/packaging - again, just ask. There are some more photos below.
I'd like to sell this within the United Kingdom - firstly to get a good price considering how much it cost me, barely a fortnight ago... and secondly due to crazy international delivery costs. I'd consider shipping it internationally if the buyer assisted with shipping. To be honest - you international folks don't pay VAT for your watches so you're best off trying to get a 10-15% discount from your respective ADs. This is priced for UK folks.
I'm asking for £3,050 + shipping. I'm more than happy to eat the loss of my mistake if it means that the watch will go onto a wrist where it is loved and appreciated. Its waaay too great to sit in its box for the next 6 months or whatever.
