Dear members of OF,

I would like to offer you today a modern Omega Speedmaster dating 18th of November 2021 with a Caliber 3861 inside.

I bought it BNIB January this year from a dealer and fellow member, so I would consider myself to be the first owner.

Due to another acquisition, I decided to let this one go. I wore this watch quite frequently and even went hiking with it strapped on my wrist.

Having that said, I am still quite careful with my watches and therefore the case does not show much wear, apart from the usual hairlinings on the polished side, which is absolutely unavoidable, regardless of how careful one is. :)

The biggest scuff is located on the polished side of the caseback, but even that was not very easy to shoot.

After wearing it for these 6 months on a regular basis, I can say it is an absolutely great proposition if you are into the vintage looks but also want a super robust watch not to worry about if you bump it into something and if you want reliability. With the coaxial escapement in the 3861 movement and because it is a modern piece, there is no wrong situation to wear it.

The 3861 inside this one is so precise, I used to set the time once a month, since it hacks and runs around 1+ seconds a day.

Pretty much a performance watch and in the form of a Speedmaster with a stepped dial, DO90 bezel, teardrop seconds hand on the chronograph, stepped caseback and a vintage-style bracelet.

The bracelet is so comfortable, I never changed it during my time with it. There are some minor scratches on the clasp but only visible under certain lights. I have failed to spot a scratch on the bracelet itself and on the brushed parts of the case.

I tried my best to shoot it in a way to show it's condition. I might get a few more photos done later on as it has not been sunny in Germany lately.

Of course I am selling the whole package, which includes the watch, the bracelet, all the removed links, the warranty cards with pictograms and etc, the booklet containing the history of the Speedmaster, the instructions manual, the inner and outer box, the portable box inside the inner box, the handtag, the plastic coffin, and the cardboard box that protects the outer box.

My price would be 5.480€, which is roughly a bit under what I paid for it.

I would very much prefer to sell the watch within the EU and shipping costs I would leave to the buyer.

PayPal, Wise and a direct cash payment if the watch is collected personally in Germany are all possible.

There has been a strong talk, as many surely are aware of, that Omega will raise the prices across all models in a few days, probably on September 1st. I talked to my guy in the Omega Boutique here in Berlin and he confirmed it without saying how much exactly the Speedy will cost. Originally, a Cal. 3861 Speedmaster with hesalite costed 6.100€ in Germany, then from February 6.600€ and then from September 1st onwards, it will probably cost around 7.000€.

After checking it out on eBay, as well as here and on C24, I think I can say this is the lowest priced Speedy in Europe at the moment.

If you want to have a great and reliable modern Speedy to wear and have fun with it, whilst paying much less than the old original price for it, this is your chance. ;)
