    0.

    Zero in. Zero out.

    The same as 2014.

    The same as 2013.

    The same as 2012.

As a matter of fact, it's been the same all my life to date. Probably will be the for the rest of my life too, unless somebody practically gives me one........ which I'd promptly sell for a watch I like. :taunt:

    ;):D

Ah. All is right in the world. I read the thread title and thought I had entered an alternate reality.

Congratulations Dennis you are making great strides this year. You are actually talking about the issue and revealing your unconscious desire that someone actually help you by giving one to you, a facilitator, if you will. Bravo, keep up the good work and try to read a chapter of the "Moon Watch Only book" each month, as you promised.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Maybe Omega should produce a Quartz powered Speedmaster just to make his skin crawl...

    Not True!
This all goes back to the 2012 Olympics. Back then Dennis proudly wore his favorite Speedmaster everywhere he went. Then the committee revoked his Gold Metal for Hockey, claiming Dennis's Speedy gave his team an unfair advantage in keeping track of penalties. He never got over this and has not worn a Speedmaster since.
I still remember how proud he was showing off his metal at a Flyers game. Such a tragedy :(

I think I missed the Speedy train, for good.

Around 2013 I was considering buying a new Speedy (€2440) on the grey market) or a 145.012 (<€3000).

In 2015 I've tested the waters, but ran away from the surf. I considered this one: https://omegaforums.net/threads/speedmaster-pre-moon-opinions-please.27880/ ... But OF persuaded me to neglect it (still pity it a bit that I didn't make the effort of the 2 hour drive to check it out myself).

Also looked at a €5000 145.012, but after paying an obscene amount for a Rolex 5513, I don't really feel like paying these bloated prices anymore,

Seems that Bart is ready for a value-packed watch like a Nomos. ;)

Sounds a lot like my Rolex report.:whistling:

Sounds similar, but I did get the new in 2013, seeing the price nowadays glad I did.:whistling:

Same for me, although do admit to trying one on at the Omega Boutique.

Wanted to see what the fascination was all about. A very nicely proportioned watch, but just doesn't work for my life.
