The top picture is old Old Chief Mountain, taken facing north. This is the CANADIAN Chief Mountain, not the American one. Old Chief mountain is located in southern Alberta, very near Waterton National Park, the southern tip of which is in the USA. Another favourite shot of mine taken at a campground near Salmon Arm, British Columbia. It was about 6:00 am, July 2015, and I took my camera and went out for a walk in the campground. This shot was taken facing east, with Shuswap Lake in the foreground.
The Great Heist......... Great fun idea. Killing 2 birds here with one event, got the pesky elves doing their daily shinanigan for the kids and a photo contribution here. Not going to win quality photo but maybe creative submission For those without children or outside of the States some background. Elf on the Shelf is relatively new Christmas tradition. The elf or elves should one have 2 kids, come out each night and cause mischief all while watching to make sure the kids behave all day. Each night they fly back and report to Santa. Helps keep the kids in check during an exciting season plus fun for me coming up with crazy things for the elves to do. Merry Christmas and Happy other holidays ya'll may or may not enjoy celebrating with your families. Mark
