so seen a 2011 Rolex sub online (jewellers) for £4750 in excellent condition with box and papers. Any thoughts...
That's about $5900 USD, you can definitely do better, specially if you can find a private sale instead of dealers..
let your fingers do the walking.. https://www.google.com/search?q=rolex 14060&rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS591US591&oq=rolex 14&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j0l3.9427j0j8&hl=en-US&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8
Decided on a new one. Figured by time I paid for a service it would be almost the same price as a new one. Plus I like the strap a little more
In answer to your original question the 14060M is the last of the aluminum bezel no date ( 4 line) series of subs. And the last of the Pin Hole cases as well. So it's the direct descendant of the 5512 and aligned with the 5513. It shares their general qualities and dimension. It is no longer made by Rolex so if you find a new old stock piece is going to cost you. The "new" one is the 114060 and it is a ceramic bezel watch. The case has slightly different proportions and does no longer reflect the legacy of the classic no date lines. It is still a great watch. If you're a traditionalist get the 14060 if you just want a great no date and you don't mind ceramic and a little extra bulk ( in feel) get the 114060. Typically a 14060 is priced under 5g us although it spikes a little as more people are interested. Here is mine along its older brother the 5512
Also as u probably know a sub is a better investment and easy to trade up as cash in the future...Unfortunately don't think many Omega's do the same
