2005 Omega Speedmaster Professional 3570.50 'GAI' & 'GX'

Hi guys, I bought a 2005 Omega Speedmaster Professional 3570.50 recently. I popped the caseback off and I noticed it has etched 'GAI' & 'GX'.

Anyone know what these letters signify?

Well the other good news is that its running fine. You are always taking a chance when you buy from Japan.

I think there was a period in the early 2000s when Omega was outsourcing it's builds like they did in the 1960s. This may signify some part of the case outsourcing. I would like to know myself as I have exactly the same case back on my 3570.50.
