You guys have been a lot of help to me since I joined this forum. I was directed here by Archer from another forum and much like stumbling on MWR, I've realized I didn't know nearly as much about Omega as I thought I did.

@WhatYourWatchSay, I can't see any pictures of your watches . You'd think with 200 posts, you'd know how much we like pics! Sheesh!

 

All I’ve learned here so far is that I’d NEVER be able to spot a good fake. I spend a lot of time looking at those, “is it fake” threads. I’m fooled about 99% of the time. So my few purchases have been through well trusted sellers.

 

Honestly my pics are pretty utilitarian for sales purposes. I see some really nice photography here and I know I can't take pictures that well. For anyone who's curious here's my blog where most of my watches have been posted:

The worst part for me is that once someone points out to me why it’s fake, it seems obvious.

Excellent first day, weather was perfect for speedskating, but the second day was windy and snowing (well, it is Quebec...), and then the freezing rain canceled all the flights out; kept us all there for an extra day-no complaints about that!

I was hoping my 200th would be an announcement that I had joined the vintage Omega Watch owners club, but I was outbid at the last.
