I'd be very interested to try on the speedy. The other two, using newer movements, I would have serious concerns about their case thickness.
With the same case dimensions and straight lugs I think the Speedy is great. I'm one of the many who'd love to have a 2915 but will never spend that kind of money on one. I'm also one of the many who just reserved their pre-order
Given the price points for the new ones, and the price points for the vintage speedy and railmaster, seems the real deal is the vintage Seamaster.
The ck2998 and FOIS are a lot beefier than an original 2998 as well, hopefully this speedy will be a touch smaller
Look like very simple watches... for almost $7k USD each. Not a chance for me. The Speedy Tuesday would be very tempting for me, but none of these three.
These use the single barrel 8806 so the potential is there for quite slim cases. 12-13mm should be possible which will look good, any fatter will not.
Don't like the Naiad crown on the Speedy. At best, it was an optional on the 2915. Much more prevalent on the 2913 SM300 and 2914 Railmaster. It appears that, unlike the Originals, the hour and minute hands are all identical in size.
I put down a deposit on the trilogy set today. $21,600 USD for the set. Also on the SpeedyTuesday pre order. Gonna be an expensive year.
We won't need to bother @kox 's to differentiate the new hands. Although I would presume that the different movements have different size hand holes.
I don't like the look of the 300 and Railmaster dials without recessed lume - but maybe I'm taking the details too far.
