Both are in 18k yellow gold screwback cases, both have the cal. 352 chronometre movement and both have textured dials. But one is a constellation and the other a seamaster.

That Seamaster is ridiculously cool, Connie's not bad either.

This is also an interesting illustration of why I like the Seamasters a bit more, the much thicker, chunkier cases wear a bit bigger and suit me more.

And while this configuration connie is hard to find, the seamaster like this is even harder!

    Really nice watches,

Finding this kind of quality is always difficult, but have you noticed that these rare waffle dial configurations are less available these days as they sink into collectors "blackholes", or is it just me who can't seem to locate any?

They would make a good pair to wear double barrel around the house on the weekend.

Any Rolex guy will tell you if there were more writing on the dial it would be better. :D

One on each arm? Like Beiber?

I'll pull out my felt tip pen and make it a superlative Seamaster?

Beiber gets his fashion tips from Dennis, the D-man pioneered the shirtless-overalls-with-one-strap-missing.

VERY nice pair! But, I still prefer the elegance of the Connies. The Seamaster would be a great one to wear though! ;)

I'm so embarrassed to admit I was greatly influenced by Dexy's Midnight Runners.

This search for these 2 is what makes this hobby satisfying - the only examples of the sort I have seen in 6 years of closely following vintage omegas. The original textured black chronometres are hard enough to find but to see find them with the more desirable cal. 352 movement with the Rg regulator in 18k gold screwback cases makes them even more attractive at least to me.

I don't think I have ever seen any in this conditon. Then again, I have only been collecting for just over a year!

The Connie looks like an early 2648 model with pressed back:)

No this one is a 2652 screwback case. Also have an 18k YG black textured dial cal. 352 connie in the 2648 case. The 2648 has a thinner bezel and thinner lugs and of course the snapback case.

    Thanks MSN,
the SS and gold top versions of the 2648 Connies have sharp lugs, when they are not overpolished... 001.JPG

Lovely duo, Mike! I ofcourse especially like the Seamaster!

Here's an SS twin acquired recently. Gotta love those facets ;)
