    I don't know if they made those in WG. If they did, Mike would be one of the odds on favorites to sniff it out.

    The pink gold one has so many dibsers it's past ridiculous. If Mike held a steel cage match for the rights to buy it, I'd be the first to sign up. Pretty sure that's the one with the purple NOS snot on the back.

    They are beautiful watches, and as you might expect, splendid examples. Not wishing to offend anyone at all, I just wonder if I am alone in not liking pie-pan Connies very much, though? Especially the ones with the stepped gold dial, which seems kind of totally over the top. I much prefer the earlier style with the arrow-head batons applied to a circular chapter ring on the domed face. Well, it probably is just me and I guess it will save me the trouble and expense of finding a good pie-pan :cool:

    While I like the version you prefer (and I collect those also) when you have a nice example of the deluxe connie in hand like those I pictured above, it might change your mind - it certainly changed mine.
