It has been the longest drought for me - 3 watches purchased in the past 3 months. One was purchased for parts and these two arrived within 2 days of each other and both lived up to expectations. This pair illustrates how I like my vintage constellations - original, unpolished and in 18k rose gold.

    Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

They're rather good, aren't they, Mike? Do I sense a little hint of peer group envy in the air? ::beer::

Nice one (or two, in this case) ;)

What's the case reference / size of the second one?

Very similar to the one I was looking at locally (though not deluxe)

Very nice Mike. How much did you pay for them? May I ask?

    Ginsu sharp!

Forget tomatoes, this one will go right through the beer can.

Ridiculously nice pieces. These are Platonic-ideal-type watches. Congrats!

Trade secret! Will say they were both slightly below what I would consider market price for these pieces probably because they came from dealers I have an established relationship with.

I get 2 watches in one week and they're stainless steel Longines. A handful of members say "pretty nice dude!". :)

Mike gets 2 watches in one week and they're 18ct grail Omegas. A quarter of the members pass out upon opening the thread. ::love::

Why do I feel like the Houston Astros to Mike's Yankees? :D

Seriously, you need to keep notes on this kinda stuff and write your memoirs in a few decades. "Reflections of a Vintage Omega Collector", with a forward written by one of us. You can spill all your tips then.
