Really quick questions:

Did they ever come with stepped dial? Havent seen any, but it doesnt mean they didnt
Serial numbers, can we use site like Speedy101 and their serial number list to determine possible years for MKII, or are they different? Guessing it can be used to get general idea, but again want to be sure.

Mark II dials are flat. It's a key trait of the reference as far as I know.

As for serial numbers, I dont know of a definitive source specific for marks, but there are several that wi give you an idea of range. ~29m to ~32m would be my best guess.
