If I didn’t already have one I’d be tempted to put an offer in for this. It needs work but I don’t suppose much more than a proper service would provide - maybe I’m wrong there. Still, It looks pretty good and with the original bracelet I would have thought this could be picked up for a decent price.

That’s what I thought, and why I posted. I’d have thought this was a £700-800 watch these days.

Starting bid is too high. It might go up after that but threshold for first bidder is at the high side.

And that’s why this place is so amazing. Thank you! I guess the evidence of the rotor wear is the ring on the inside of the case-back?

It´s need service and has a scratch on the dial. The seller mention all in the decription.

It’s already relisted, but not a bit more attractive than before. For that money, there are certainly nicer vintage Omegas out there.

With the 518 endlinks and in steel a good 1040 will be in the region of 125-175 GBP
