Over the past 6 months, I learned a lot about vintage watches. I would like to thank warmly all OF members who helped me and shared their passion: @LouS @Noodia @gatorcpa @woodwkr2 @cristos71 It all starts now. Thanks a lot. *** Here is my first vintage watch, the first of a long series. With this watch, I choose to start low end. The next one will be a higher-end Compax (Zenith, UG...) Titus Genève circa 1940s 18k rose gold. Bought thanks to @Fost .
I really like the Titus and the Non Magnetic markings and I´m very happy to ( finally ) see something on your wrist
That's a beauty of a chrono! The dial is very nice, bit of age to it, and the black and gold together are so nice! Great entry! ...now you're done for!
Thanks for joining and thanks for posting photos of your foray into vintage watches. I like it very much.
congrats!!!! i am very happy Jean and as already said, this one was my favorite!!! really really nice!!! smooth transaction?
Thank all! this community makes me want to continue my foray into vintage watches Sorry Fost for taking your favorite ! I hope you enjoy your Piepan. The transaction was very smooth with Harry, he is a passionate collector. I will post about his IWC collection.
Mmmmmmmmm............. Twin register chrono, you're on the bus now Marcel and it doesn't stop except to collect more of them.
"Low end" or "high end", who cares? They're just arbitrary labels. Besides, I think you're far too modest. That is a lovely watch - congrats!
