Would anybody be willing to provide me with a place that sells female spring bars? Even Ebay seems to be sparse on the 19mm variant. I've gone to a few stores and found them to be exclusively geared toward professionals - that is, they won't sell to "hobbyists".

I need a single pair for a nice Zenith watch.

You should make sure to get ones with hole of adequate diameter to clear the male lug pins on your beautiful Zenith.

Anything else you need? Otto Frei has a $15 min order requirement, then charges you $12 to ship it to your U.S. address. I usually buy straps, replacement ends for my spring bar tool, and stuff I didn't know I couldn't live without. Wish I could help with a nice pair since you're not asking for much! Certainly someone will have a pair to send you. Check the Universal forum. Lots of male lugs on those puppies...

    I purchased this assortment:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-of-12-brass-female-watch-spring-bars-7-22-mm-/360755783147Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

One of the good things about female springbars is that the size does not have to be exact. They are generally measured before compression.

This means that a 22mm could be used down to 18mm or 19mm. In fact, I think that the connection would be more secure at a smaller size than a larger one. This is the opposite of a conventional male springbar. I think I'm using the 22mm springbars to secure an 18mm watch:

    Hope this helps,

I really like those bombe style lugs. what a beautiful watch!1!

I'm a sucker for classic yg and rg dress watches. Put a black lizard strap on that beauty and it's perfection.
