I think they were thinking that they were 'replicating' the look of the CK 2915-1.

i'm waiting for the "Derelicte" line of fashion inspired watches.

At first, I had to let my eyes settle for a short while. Very nice dial and gold work combo done though!

There are four for sale on Chrono24.

And? I'm sure they ship internationally.

And have to pay 20% plus extra in taxes? Buying from the US in Europe is not ideal.

Folks

am wondering if there is a consensus on valid serials for the unfortunately named ‘Replica’ broad arrow Speedmaster.

I’ve seen a few 48.... and that ties to a projection I get from ilovemyspeedmaster at around 1998, but there also seems to be a few amount in the 77...... range

Any thoughts on why such a large discrepancy?

I guess I’m asking - what confidence should one have in a 77..... serial being genuine and not a modded later 861. (Without pulling an extract - if that’s even an option)

Sorry if question is off topic
May i ask what book is that on the third pic?

I think Dali might be more appropriate 71Lm36PfCAL._AC_SL1024_.jpg
The 3954 has been one of the least costly to obtain Speedmasters for several years now. Is that still the case? i picked on up about 5 or 6 yrs ago. No corrosion on the hands, but I was aware of that issue when I bought it.
I saw a couple for sale, head only, for $2.6k, just this past week.

Even just a year ago the 3594.50 was substantially cheaper than your standard moonwatch - I know that was a factor when I entered the market by buying one! But my impression (in Australia at least) is that a nice cheapish moonwatch is getting harder and harder to find, which seems to be pushing up the prices for alternatives like the 3594.50 as well.

It’s the best Speedy printed reference material.

IMHO it's the best watch reference book ever made... for any watch / any brand.

Hijack on an old thread, I notice this reference has 30m WR, compared to the normal 50m WR on the Speedy Pro, was there a reason for this? Can 50m WR be achieved?

Thanks Archer, appreciate the quick response, I might have been wrong on the 30m but I'm sure i read that on Omega site somewhere. Not that I'd use it as a dive watch, just 50m to me will be acceptable just in case. You have now made my mind up on what Speedy to go for.
