    Dear experts,
am I right in thinking that one of these is a redialled Rolex - and that I also need to be careful that the movement and case are actually Rolex too (if you mess about with one bit, you might mess with the rest to make a profit)?

AFAIK, there may have been a few of these made by Rolex in the 60's, but they didn't make many. Or is that an urban myth, and it's as genuine as any other?

If redialled, but Rolex, does it have resale value, or not?

    thanks!

Have never seen this one, the offset crown logo and text surprise me.

I've seen it with them centered or with only the crown image but no text, but this mix never.

Please research if there is any example of this model with the Rolex engraving and the Logo being offset as they are here. I have never seen it, and even on the article you will not see it.

I am not saying 100% it's not possible or genuine, but I have never seen it .

I've not seen it before, hence asking the experts here. But I'm not a Rolex expert at all...... thanks for the input so far.

But again, without the Rolex legend off center.

I would pass on the one you're considering and choose a safer one

thanks all. Given it's an aftermarket dial (or at least a repaint) I'm less bothered by the offset logo, as long as the rest of the watch is Rolex. Does anyone know of a good watchmaker in the West Midlands/Shropshire (UK) who could check it out if I buy with a return clause?

I suspect a Rolex AD won't check or service it, and since our main Rolex AD didn't know what a 5513 was, I'd not trust them on too much, tbh.....
